2010-02-24 Erotic dreams. Part 1

Erotic dreams are quite normal and quite widespread phenomena. They are dreamed to all and always, but if you seem that you have never seen them, it is most likely that you badly remember all your dreams in principle, what means that erotic moments just fall out of there.

Sigmund Freud has affirmed that any dream has sexual subtext. But for today it is clear that dreams expose in them all spheres of unconscious life of a person that is why they touch thoughts about work, children, future, money, health and with the same extent about sexual life.

There is opinion that dreams about sex, obviously erotic dreams tell about anything but not directly about sexual relations. It may be problems of mutual understanding between people, common work and even enmity. Often erotic figurativeness of our dreams has connection with spiritual and even religious aspects of our life. It is connected with situation that sexual contact affects different spheres of internal life: from straight physical to emotional and even spiritual. And image of sexual act always symbolically means the most frank in human life. And sometimes, with such method, with help of erotic frank scenes, our unconscious brings us deep philosophic and worldview worries. Quasi "throwing" them on the surface.

According to statistical psychologist's data, erotic dreams more often are dreamed by men. It being the case that men by their nature are more active in sexual relations, fantasies, emancipations. Besides many men are however polygamous and, accordingly think oftener about quantity of their partners, fantasies about different girls and women. It appears, such dreams can start to visit us in a very little age, and something similar to erotic scene can dream even a child. Such dreams become frequent during the sexual maturation - in adolescence. But they continue till deep old age. As they are connected not only with hormonal background, physiological processes of excitement but also with subconscious processes of desires and fantasies. Although in middle age, of course, such dreams can be considerably less.
